Marie Mullen was one of the found members of the Druid Theatre Compan y of Galway along with Garry Hynes and the late Mick Lally.   She and her husband Sean McGinley have acted in many of the Druid productions over the years and in 1998 she won a Tony for Best Actress for “The Beuty Queen of Leenane”.   Her films include “Hear My Song” in 1991, “Circle of Friends” and “The Van”.
