Pete Murray the popular broadcaster had a career in British films before his radio years. He was born in London in 1925. He was an extra in the Powell & Pressburger classic “THe Life and Death of Colonel Blimp” in 1943. His films include “Caravan”, “Captain Boycott”, “Hungary Hill” and “My Brother Jonathan”.
