Performed the spoken words on “Kites” by Simon Dupree And The Big Sound. This was a Top 10 UK hit for the group, peaking at number 9. She had a bit of a problem with this as she didn’t speak Chinese. She was born and raised in Trinidad. A local restaurateur was quickly brought in to to write a few lines for her to recite.
